Construction at the site for the TRON Lightcycle Run rollercoaster inside of the Magic Kingdom continues to move forward. Today, we stopped by the site to check out the latest progress on the ride.
As you approach the site on the PeopleMover, the large track of the ride rises from the ground and into the sky.
This large pile of dirt that has been moved for construction work continues to block the view before you arrive at Space Mountain.
The show building for the ride is nearly completely covered now on the exterior portions of the frame.
Work on the launch section of the ride track continues to be abuzz with activity, as several workers were on site today.
Back near the ride track, the majority of the outdoor section of the rollercoaster track itself is in place. At the base, footers are being readied for the support beams that will hold up the large glass structure.
