The Goodness Garden Butterfly House has a new home this year in between The Land and the Imagination! Pavilion. If you recall past Flower & Garden Festivals, the butterfly garden activity was always located near Innoventions West, just off of Club Cool. With that whole area under demolition, the activity had to be relocated in order to find a new, more tranquil spot for the butterflies to rest.
Upon entering the garden, we were met with a butterfly topiary signaling guests where to find the new butterfly garden location.
A bright teal tarp forms an entryway, with a small chain curtain in place to keep butterflies from roaming beyond the garden.
As is customary with opening day of the festival, there were a large number of guests walking through the garden with butterflies floating all around.
In amongst the various flowers, butterflies can be seen hopping from one bright bloom to the other.
The various houses are present with cocoons that will sprout even more butterflies throughout the festival. This is one of the coolest locations during the festival to escape the sometimes-crazy hustle and bustle of World Showcase and (what remains of) Future World.
If you have never made it over to the butterfly garden during EPCOT’s International Flower & Garden Festival, make sure to do it this time around. What are you most excited to try this year at Flower & Garden? Let us know in the comments!
