With all of Walt Disney World Resort, including its waterparks, still closed, events like the upcoming Moonlight Magic at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon are being shuffled around to accommodate for a delayed reopening. According to DVC News, registration for the events, which are scheduled to take place on June 17 and June 24 are currently on hold, with registration to be “moved to later dates.”
While these specific Moonlight Magic events aren’t cancelled, a recent email was sent out to DVC Members informing them of cancelled events on 4/21, 4/28, and 5/4. Other Moonlight Magic evenings that may still be salvageable include a June 29 event at EPCOT, for which registration is currently on hold.
Moonlight Magic is exclusively for Disney Vacation Club members and allows guests to get free late-night entry into a designated park with complimentary refreshments, exclusive meet and greets with characters, and short wait times at attractions. Members can bring up to three guests to Moonlight Magic Events or their entire party if staying at a DVC resort.
We’ll continue to update you on any further Moonlight Magic schedule or event changes throughout the ongoing parks closure.
