Although the parks have been closed to guests for almost two months, it has been heartwarming to see people joining together to spread pixie dust from afar. Nobody is better at sharing the Disney magic we love and miss than the wonderful cast members, and we were delighted to see a newly-released video, made by cast members from Disneyland Paris.
This week, the YouTuber Matt Davies released the joyful collaboration video “Celebrating The Wonderful World of Disney Parade – Lockdown Edition”. The video stars over 160 Disneyland Paris cast members both former and current, joining together to create a virtual, at-home rendition of “The Wonderful World of Disney Parade”. The dancers dance along to the nostalgic choreography, and there’s even float drivers and directors featured, too!
The Wonderful World of Disney Parade brought magic to the streets of the Disneyland Park from 1998 until 2007. Walt Disney World guests might recognise the catchy song from a previous attraction on their side of the pond – the “Characters on Holiday” omnibus which used to roll through EPCOT.
We are really enjoying watching all the at-home productions that have been created throughout lockdown, and seeing all the magic that has come shining through the difficult times. Make sure you check out “The World Famous Jungle Cruise: Quarantined Skipper Super Cut”, or Disney’s Port Orleans Resorts’ Yeehaa Bob Jackson’s full set from home.
