Local 737 Unite Here has shared that Walt Disney World has started calling workers back to work. Cast Members at the restaurant locations listed below are being called to start work on June 14:
This is likely a list of the available restaurants that will be open to guests at Disney Vacation Club resorts and Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground upon their reopening on June 22. Do note that just because they are on this list does not necessarily mean they will reopen. Some interesting omissions include buffet-style dining, like Boma at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge – Jambo House and Trail’s End at Fort Wilderness. Meanwhile, places that offer family-style dining instead, like Whispering Canyon, are on the list as reopening.
In addition, Cast Members in Housekeeping have also been called in to work for the following resorts:
We’ll continue to update with more information as it becomes available, and are happy to hear that Cast Members will be able to resume work for the imminent reopening of Walt Disney World.
Aside from Fort Wilderness and the Yacht club, all of these are DVC resorts.
Doesn’t look like their are calling back cast members for any of the dinner shows. That is sad to see. I’m sure they will open those locations in due time.
