Florida Remains on Ohio Travel Advisory List as COVID-19 Cases Rise

Ohio Governor Mike DeWine has updated the state’s recommended travel advisory list, which Florida remains on.

The list consists of states in which the positive rate of COVID-19 is 15% or higher. Individuals entering Ohio from any of these states are highly recommended to self-quarantine for at least 14 days. The governor also encourages all Ohio residents to avoid traveling to any states on the list.

The travel advisory list includes the following states:

  • Florida
  • Alabama
  • Mississippi
  • South Carolina
  • Arizona
  • Kansas
  • Idaho

According to the Florida Department of Health, there has been a total of 432,747 cases of COVID-19 in Florida with 5,931 deaths.
