PHOTOS: The Chapeau in the Magic Kingdom Reopens With No Exterior Entrance and Unchanged Embroidery Services

Everyone knows that a good hat or set of Minnie Mouse ears makes an outfit, so it’s only proper that The Chapeau reopens as part of the first group of shops in the Magic Kingdom as part of it’s phased reopening. With a comprehensive selection of baseball hats, Minnie Mouse ear headbands, Mickey Mouse ear hats, and everything in between, The Chapeau is sure to have something to fit your style.

The only major change to the store since reopening is the removal of an entrance accessible from the outside. The only entrance into the shop is now located inside of The Main Street Confectionery.

Once inside the shop, all the latest styles are there to entice you.

The register in this room has social distancing markers in place, as well as a plexiglass barrier to separate guests and Cast Members during transactions.

Exterior doors are shut and blocked by signs directing guests to the proper places to exit the building.

Up the ramp to the rest of the store, the ear hats that are popular with those who wish to have them personalized with an embroidered name or message fill the room, along with a few other items guests sometimes might like to have personalized.

While a plexiglass barrier has been installed at the embroidery station, we have been informed that no changes have been made to the embroidery offerings, the service remains the same.

Will you stop in at The Chapeau on your next walk down Main Street, USA?
