Be warned that this dish is served… well, without a dish. While we get that it’s supposed to be “portable” food, it’s hard if you intend on sharing these or cutting in them in half, or just need to rest your food on a surface that may or may not be a trash can. That being said, the meatball had a lot of flavor and all toppings complimented dish well. While definitely new for many guests, the lentil bread pretty much tasted like any flatbread.

There’s a lot going on with this one. Those unaware of the recent infatuation with the Impossible Burger, let’s catch you up to speed. The company selling these burgers has made them entirely vegan, but they taste like meat, down to having the ‘bleeding’ effect that a medium-rare burger would have. Fortunately, this one is well-done and doesn’t have any juices flowing from it. The spicy Asian slaw and wasabi cream on top adds a great kick to bring the stale burger to life.

Chocolate Pudding Terrarium with Avocado Cream, Matcha Crumb and Baby Herbs – $5.25

Here’s one we’re seeing all over Instagram. The pudding takes a great photo, what with all the colorful toppings and all, but the flavors here just don’t work. There’s a thick layer of chocolate pudding, followed by matcha crumb, and then the toppings, but none of the flavors mesh well. Each individual aspect of the dish tastes good, just not when you put it all in one spoonful. Still, we appreciate their creativity here.

Playalinda Brewing Company Violet Lemonade Ale, Titusville, FL (5.2% ABV) – $4.50 (6 oz), 8.50 (12 oz)

From Walter P. on Untappd: “Tastes like flowers. A little tart from the lemonade, but light and easy drinking.”

Everyone agreed that this tasted more like a lemonade than a tea. All in all, it was refreshing, but why pay for a plastic mason jar when you can purchase a Spike the Bee Sipper instead? Also, we were quite surprised to see this jar is still branded as an EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival souvenir, when we are definitely now in the Taste of EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival season now!
