Following the integration of the Mobile Dine Walk-Up Waitlist feature on My Disney Experience, some restaurants are now showing estimated wait times. The waitlist feature allows guests to add their party to the waitlist via the mobile app instead of walking up to a podium and potentially causing crowding at the restaurant.
Restaurants that have integrated the feature now show a wait time when looking at the map.
When guests click on the restaurant, it shows the estimated wait time for a party of 4. When adding your party to the waitlist, you must specify the size of your party, so the wait time may vary slightly depending on how many people are dining. This is a good way to get an idea of how long the wait might be before going through the process of adding your party to the waitlist.
The waitlist feature is not the same as a dining reservation and only works for guests who are in the park. The following restaurants have integrated the feature so far:
- Kona Cafe at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort
- Sanaa at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge – Kidani Village
- Topolino’s Terrace – Flavors of the Riviera at Disney’s Riviera Resort
- Whispering Canyon Cafe at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge
