Hey howdy hey from Disney’s Hollywood Studios! We were excited to check out what was new at this classic park today, and it did not disappoint. Let’s get started!

Unlike the other parks, cars that arrive prior to the traditional hour ahead line-up time are allowed to wait at the bend in the road before the parking gate. When enough cars have gathered and it’s close enough to 60 minutes prior to park opening, cars are then moved up to the parking gates. We’ll get the hang of the parking routine just in time for them to change it!

Halloween has come to Disney’s Hollywood Studios! Mickey’s of Hollywood was fully decked out with lots of new merchandise, and everyone was getting in the holiday spirit. While a few items sold out early in the morning and were restocked later in the day, everything else, including the Mickey snack Crocs, were in steady supply.

While there we found this new piece of Halloween merch- a drink mix set of apple ciders. Each set contains three flavors and each one sounds absolutely delicious! The mix also comes in these cute tins, featuring art of Mickey, Minnie, and Goofy that match the pins released for Halloween this year.

The Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway Limited Edition Wishables blind bags were dwindling at the gift shop next to the attraction. Be sure to grab yours while you still can!

Beverly Sunset Boutique is still closed, but finally, had closed signs installed on the doors. We’re a bit confused as to the placement of these signs, but at least they’re there.

We found a lovely display featuring the Summer Fun collection, which is currently on sale for 30% off select items. Have you had your eye on a piece from this collection? If so, now is the time to buy! Don’t forget, discounts stack with this sale!

We also found another sale going on, this one on current items. Select Halloween glow items are reduced to $10, regularly $15.96 plus tax.

While we already knew about the sales going on for the Flower & Garden and Rainbow collections, did you know that the sales also apply to Pandora jewelry? Discounts stack here as well, so take advantage of this sale while you can.

We found this cute “The Child” from The Mandalorian ceramic ornament at Tatooine Traders. Having this ornament on your Christmas tree is the way.

We checked the popular attractions and noted the wait times and the length of the line both in the morning at park opening, and around midday to compare the two times. Both times the wait times were very similar, but in the morning the lines were easily double in length what they were at midday. Twilight Zone Tower of Terror was a 35-minute wait when this picture was taken, and the line snaked around the front of the square. At midday, the wait was 25 minutes, and the line was completely inside the attraction.

In the morning, Slinky Dog Dash was a 40-minute wait and the line stretched down the length of the attraction to the corner where the walkway turns to head out of Toy Story Land.

By midday, the wait time was still 40 minutes, but the line only just turned the corner around the attraction’s entrance.

We found a new drink at Starbucks that is perfect for the late summer heat here in Florida— the Kiwi Starfruit Starbucks Refresher. We love the fresh color, and can’t wait to try this fun drink.

Before we headed out for the day, we got to ride Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. Like yesterday, the ride was a little rough, with certain elements missing, but we were happy to see that our buddy R5 was back to his old self again.

We had a great day at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and we hope that you enjoyed coming along with us. Have a magical day!
