This new seasonal flavor of the macaron ice cream sandwich contains the refreshingly sweet and slightly tart raspberry gelato combined with the intense flavor of vanilla bean. The pairing is great, although the macaron itself is a bit hard to eat and slightly sticky. It also comes in a beautifully wrapped package that mimics the look of a French newspaper.

Overall we would recommend this new special, and at five dollars it is a great way to get a refreshing taste of France on a hot summer day at the Walt Disney World Resort. In addition to these new seasonal flavors, L’Artisan des Glaces has also added a pear gelato special for guests to try.
