Many recreational activities have remained shut down due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but today we learned that recreation Cast Members were being called back to work in October. We now know that fishing is one of the activities that will be returning to the resort.
Fishing excursions are regularly available at the following Walt Disney World Resort hotels:
- Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground
- Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort
- Disney’s Contemporary Resort
- Disney’s Old Key West Resort
- Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort
- Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside
- Disney’s Wilderness Lodge
- Disney’s Yacht Club Resort
Guests can choose from 2-hour and 4-hour excursions, and may possibly be able to add an extra hour in-person depending on availability. Guests can call 407-WDW-BASS (939-2277) to book an excursion.
It’s likely that fishing, along with other recreational activities, will have new guidelines and may be more limited than before. Guests should read Walt Disney World’s webpage about fishing before booking, and clarify any questions with a phone representative.
