We visited EPCOT over the weekend to check on new attraction construction and reopening preparations for a couple of food and beverage locations. Crowds are starting to return to their pre-pandemic levels with longer wait times.
Construction continues on the entrance fountain.
Hopefully this scratch on one of the pylons will be repaired soon.
Spaceship Earth had a 40 minute wait with guests wrapping around almost the entire queue.
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is progressing.
The Play! Pavilion’s roof tile replacement is almost complete.
The Donut Box and Cool Wash are preparing to reopen. Social distancing markers, cash registers, and hand sanitizer have been installed.
Tables have been set up at Cool Wash.
Test Track had a 90 minute wait.
Interior demolition continues on Electric Umbrella.
The original Mouse Gear location has been completely gutted.
We found Joy out and about.
The Land Pavilion had a long line of guests.
The Seas with Nemo and Friends also had a long line with a wait time of 40 minutes.
Turtle Talk with Crush is still closed.
The Ocean Life exhibit had a line of guests.
This loggerhead sea turtle greeted us from the aquarium.
Many people were in the World Showplace for a bite to eat and some air conditioning.
The back wall was pushed back to increase capacity.
