While it is technically still summer, that didn’t stop us from heading down to Disney Springs to taste the latest Halloween creation at The Ganachery. We here at WDWNT are no strangers to their over-the-top, indulgent chocolate piñatas, and were delighted by the spooky splendor of their newest Franken-creation.

Do note that these Halloween piñatas will not officially debut until Wednesday.

Big thanks to Chef Amanda for providing us with a special first look at these beautiful Halloween piñatas—now, let’s dig in!

For presentation, the Halloween piñata is served on a tray of multicolored sprinkles and The Ganachery’s signature crunchy chocolate pearls.

The entirety of the milk chocolate sphere is coated with a layer of green white chocolate to emulate Frankenstein, including a chocolate scar and even shiny (edible) silver bolts along the side.

At the top, sitting between two solid chocolate disks, is Minnie’s purple polka-dotted bow, made out of fondant.

While these chocolate piñatas are a work of art, they are destined for the macabre…

…that is, they come with a wooden mallet to be smashed open—after all, what else would you do with a piñata?

The mallet is even printed with The Ganachery logo—a great detail for this over-the-top treat.

Once the compulsory aesthetic photos were taken, it was time to start the destruction of the piñata…

The bolts in the side of the piñata are made of pure chocolate but they had a surprisingly fruity taste.

As you can probably tell by now, the interior consists almost entirely of chocolate and marshmallows, all made in-house at The Ganachery.

You can see specks of vanilla bean inside these delectable, chocolate-covered marshmallows.

If you’re feeling festive (and in the mood for lots of chocolate), one of these monstrous piñatas can be yours for $28 plus tax, consistent with previous piñata pricing at The Ganachery. Please note that Annual Passholder discounts are not available, but Cast Members can enjoy a discount. The piñatas will be available at The Ganachery, located in the landing at Disney Springs, through Halloween.
