Disney included the show as part of its programming for late 2020 as Disney+ enters its second year of streaming. Back in February, the show was announced to be released in December, though an exact date has yet to be confirmed.

The official synopsis comes from Disney:

“Marvel Studios’ “WandaVision” blends the style of classic sitcoms with the Marvel Cinematic Universe in which Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany)—two super-powered beings living their ideal suburban lives—begin to suspect that everything is not as it seems. The new series is directed by Matt Shakman; Jac Schaeffer is head writer.”

“WandaVision” will kick off a series of Disney+ Original Shows all set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Previously, “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier” was supposed to be the first to be released in August, but production delays tied to the COVID-19 pandemic have postponed those plans.

Even though there’s no new footage since the show’s Super Bowl commercial, you can the show included in the Disney+ “Coming Soon” trailer below!
