Hello from a warm, but lovely day here at EPCOT! We were excited to take a trip around World Showcase to find all the new and fun things to show you today. Let’s get started!
When we came into the park, we noticed that the scaffolding is still standing near the lucite pylons. No visible work has been done on them, and they still appear to be scratched from the earlier construction work.
Fresh concrete has been laid in a section near Cool Wash and the exit of Test Track. We noticed last week that the concrete here was cracked, and it seems we weren’t the only ones!
We found some menu changes around the park today, at festival booths and quick service locations alike. Both this to-go Rose & Crown bar and the Rose & Crown Pub have discontinued the Magners Pear Cider, and have started serving a canned Original Sin Black Widow Cider for $9.25 instead. Inside the Pub, Strongbow Cider is still available on tap.
At the France Food & Wine Festival booth, the Kronenbourg Blanc 1664 Pale Lager has been replaced by the Kronenbourg 1664 Blanc Fruit Rouges Draft Beer, with a $0.25 increase with the new beer.
The Festival Favorites booth has a new menu item that will delight many who have attended festivals in the past—the roasted lamb chop with mint pesto has returned! Previously at the Australia Food & Wine Festival booth, this dish is sure to delight, although it is different than it has been in the past.
We found lots of new merchandise worth noting today. The first find was this Limited Edition Pixar Character Cameos Pin, which we found at Pin Traders for $39.99.
The second was this Pandora charm set featuring these adorable Mickey balloons. We’ve seen this set online before, but this is the first time we’ve seen it in the parks. We found it at Mouse Gear for $140.
Speaking of new jewelry at the parks, a whole slew of new Alex and Ani arrived at the park today. We’ve seen all of these bracelets online before, but getting to see them in person was wonderful! This Meeko charm was our favorite. For a look at all the Alex and Ani we found today, see our article here.
We found a new Christmas Open Edition pin featuring Ralph and Vanellope von Schweitzer from Wreck It Ralph hiding in The Seas Pavilion today. This adorable pin retails for $9.99.
We found a youth pajama set perfect for cuddling up and watching a certain TV show at Mission Space Cargo Bay today.
Featuring “Baby Yoda” in sequins on the top and as on overall print on the bottom, this set is sure to impress. It retails for $29.99.
If you’re in a matching mood, we found this adult comic book art style shirt at Mouse Gear for $26.99.
We found more pieces to the new Mexico Pavilion line today, including this Tervis tumbler featuring the Three Caballeros. For pictures and information on all the new pieces, see our article here.
New pieces of the Wishes Come True Blue Color Collection are trickling in, including this Sorcerer Mickey hat keychain. We found this keychain at Mouse Gear for $14.99.
There’s a new Park Pal in town, and this one is Christmas themed! Pluto has arrived with reindeer antlers on his head just in time for the holiday season at the parks to begin. We found this Park Pal at Mouse Gear for $11.99.
The Annual Passholder Pop-Up Shop in the Germany Pavilion has added some new things this week. This older Germany Pavilion merchandise is on sale there now for 50% off, plus your 30% Passholder discount on top of that.
There are also new Passholder exclusive phone cases, magnets, and shirts featuring previously released Passholder magnet designs. Our favorite was this Mickey case with Christmas lights wrapped around the blank space of the case. For information and pictures of the rest of the designs available, see our article here.
Last but certainly not least, we found a brand new pair of Minnie ears at Mouse Gear featuring a crown fit for a Princess—a Disney Princess, that is. These pretty-in-peach ears have a crown instead of a bow, and are ready to adorn your throughout the day.
We had a wonderful day here at EPCOT, and we hope you enjoyed coming along with us. Have a magical day!
