As announced in July, The VOID at Downtown Disney District in Disneyland Resort is permanently closed. In August, we learned that The VOID in Disney Springs was also permanently closed. It seems Disney has finally put a nail in the coffin as signage has been removed from the Downtown Disney District location.
For reference, here’s a look at what the exterior of the location looked like when it first opened at Downtown Disney District, with the VOID logo on top of a “Step Beyond Reality” marquee.
And here’s what it looks like now, with all signage removed.
Guests line up along the vacant store to order treats at the adjacent Sprinkles bakery.
For now, there’s no news about what might be replacing The VOID in Downtown Disney District, if anything.
The Void is now the void.
(Irony! Irony! No escaping, that’s for me!)
