The LEGO Ideas program gives fans a way to connect with each other and the company. Whether it’s with Activities like Quick Build challenges for beginners or Contests to show off custom-built models as experienced builders, there are a number of options and opportunities for enthusiasts of all ages.

But for those real dedicated fans who fancy themselves Master Builders, there is another opportunity. Fan-built models can be submitted on the Product Ideas page to be considered for new kits by LEGO. Other fans can then browse the Ideas posted and choose to support the model. Once the model attains 100 supporters, it will remain on the site for 12 more months. Within that time, it must hit 1000 supporters to get a six month extension and then 5000 supporters for an additional six month extension. If the model attains 10,000 supporters before the clock runs out, it will be reviewed by LEGO Experts. If it passes muster, the model is approved for production and will be heading to store shelves.

Some of these fan designs get incredibly creative. And here at WDWNT, a few Disney-centric models have caught our eye. Take a look at some of these cool models below, a few of which will be heading for store shelves soon after approval.

This proposed model of the Emporium from Magic Kingdom has 6,682 supporters and 153 days left to reach its 10K goal. While the outside is very complex with its many columns, the inside is equally complex.

The inside houses a miniature scene from “Pirates of the Caribbean” on the second floor. The scene comes complete with a boat, guests riding, and pirates on the shore.
