Disneyland Resort Will Not Sell Hand-Made Candy Canes This Year Due to Health & Safety Restrictions

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, Disneyland Resort will not be serving their famous hand-made candy canes this year. The candy canes are usually sold for $15 at Candy Palace in Disneyland Park and Trolley Treats in Disney California Adventure. The tradition would run from Thanksgiving week through Christmas day.

Disneyland Park will likely not open until 2021. Buena Vista Street in Disney California Adventure will be opening this weekend as an extension of Downtown Disney District but the candy canes will not be made available. Production of the candy canes will not be possible with current health and safety guidelines.

The 18-inch candy canes are so popular that wristbands and long lines have been part of the experience in recent years. 2018 was the 50th anniversary of the special candy canes.
