Fireworks testing is scheduled for the Magic Kingdom area in Walt Disney World next week, set to take place on Monday night after park close. However, don’t get your hub blankets ready just yet, because this may not necessarily be an indication of the immediate return of fireworks spectaculars.
Timing may suggest that this is testing for the 50th anniversary nighttime spectacular, codenamed “Project Nugget”, which is set to debut on October 1, 2021. Of course, this could also be general fireworks testing as well. Permits for Project Nugget were filed by Walt Disney World in early August.
Stay tuned for more updates on fireworks spectaculars at Walt Disney World!
