With the reopening of Buena Vista Street at Disney California Adventure comes the return of in-park dining. We visited Smokejumpers Grill to see how the restaurant has changed due to social distancing.

Guests can mobile order through the Disneyland App instead of standing in line.

A few things to note about Mobile Order at Smokejumpers Grill: First off, you need to be inside Buena Vista Street in order to pick up a mobile order—that is, you can’t place an order as a means of getting in, because it won’t grant you automatic access to Buena Vista Street if it’s at capacity. Secondly, you can’t just order a beer—an alcoholic beverage (2 maximum) can only be purchased in conjunction with an adult meal. Items that qualify as a meal are noted on the menu.

Topping bars, as well as tables, have been removed entirely inside.

Though mobile order is encouraged, there is still Plexiglass at the registers in case guests with allergies need to order something specific.

There are social distancing markers leading to mobile order pick up.

Tables outside are socially distanced, and it looks like some have been removed to make space. Additional seating is available throughout the entrance to Soarin’ as well.

Cast Members were there ready to clean after guests left.
