Classic Pumpkin Cheesecake with a Bourbon Sour Cream Topping and Toasted Pecans

This treat is delicious! The cheesecake is creamy and tastes like heavenly pumpkin pie.

The crust is a perfect graham cracker crumb crust. The toasted pecans are just the right texture of firm but not crunchy or mushy.

The sour cream topping is amazing but honestly wasted on this cheesecake. It’s great, with a subtle but unmistakable bourbon flavor, but it’s lost in the pumpkin flavor. Sometimes it pops through for just a flash of flavor, but we think it deserves more than that.

We hope they use this topping again on something it can really shine on.

Regardless, this dessert is fantastic and we would definitely get it again.
