This is a definite pass. One of the cheeses was terrible, and the other was just okay. The meats are good. One is a tangy prosciutto and the other is a ham. The accompaniments of praline almonds, berry balsamic compote, and lavash bread are decent as well, but overall, it’s still not worth it.

M.I.A. Beer Company White Christmas IPA, Doral, FL (6.7% ABV) – $4.50/8.50

BeerAdvocate user jhartley says that White Christmas IPA “[has] a super light yellow turbid body, NEIPA style, with a nice amount of small bubbles in the head. [There’s a] nice amount of hops coming through in the nose… [with] spicy hops and a lingering bitterness along with a light smooth mouthfeel.”

The White Christmas IPA is one that even someone who doesn’t like IPAs could get into, with more subdued hops.

3 Daughters Brewing 70 Degree Winter Weizen, St. Petersburg, FL (5.0% ABV) – $4.50/8.50

From 3 Daughters Brewing: “Fruity, spicy and toasty, this is the perfect pairing for our mild Florida winters. Winterweizen has a grain bill that includes pilsner, wheat, rye, chocolate and roasted barley. All brewed with ginger, cloves and fermented with a traditional wheat ale yeast. With little hop flavor, this beer is not overly bitter, but very flavorful, finishing somewhat dry.

*NEW* Playlalinda Brewing Co. Gingerblonde House Ale, Titusville, FL – $4.50/8.50

This is a surprisingly nice winter ale. It’s not too heavy and it has some spice to it. It’s refreshing without a bad lingering aftertaste. We’re not normally big fans of Playlinda beers, but this one is better than average.

*NEW* Ciderboys Mad Bark Apple Cinnamon Hard Cider, Stevens Point, WI – $4.50/8.50

From Ciderboys: “This is new territory. This is playing loud to 30,000 screaming fans. This is wake up in stereo. Indescribable Mad Bark Hard Apple Cider infused with the seductive bittersweet taste of cinnamon. If you take requests, hand ’em a bottle. Share your discovery. Check their pulse. Rev it up.”

*NEW* 3 Daughters Brewing Blueberry Peppercorn Hard Cider, St. Petersburg, FL – $4.50/8.50

Check 3 Daughters Brewing for more information about their ciders.

*NEW* Beak & Skiff Apple Orchards 1911 Honeycrisp Hard Cider, Lafayette, NY – $4.50/8.50

From 1911 Established: “Brings a fan favorite apple to your can. Made from 100% estate grown Honeycrisp apples, this popular variety is sweet but never heavy.”
