Disney has announced that starting on January 1st, 2021, a new D23 Gold Duo membership plan will be available. The new plan, priced at $129.99/year, will be taking the place of the D23 Gold Family Membership Plan. The D23 Gold Family Membership Plan will no longer be available for purchase after December 31st, 2020.
According to D23.com, the benefits of the new D23 Gold Duo plan include:
- 2 personalized Gold Member Cards and Gold Member Certificates
- Access for 2 D23 Gold Members to virtual and in-person events, plus the ability for each Gold Member to bring Guest(s) to select events
- Access for TWO D23 Gold Members to special D23 Gold offers, including early access, discounts, and exclusive merchandise opportunities
- ONE 2021 Gold Member Collector Set, which will be sent to the primary member
- ONE annual subscription (four issues) to Disney twenty-three publication, which will be sent to the primary member
Current D23 Gold Family Members will have the opportunity to transition at no additional cost to the D23 Gold Membership Duo Plan through the remainder of their current Gold Family Membership term, and automatically renew to the Gold Duo Plan annually thereafter. Current D23 Gold Members also can upgrade for a fee to the Gold Duo Plan starting in January 2021.
