PHOTO REPORT: Magic Kingdom 1/4/21 (New Marvel CRISLU Jewelry, Work Continues on PeopleMover Ahead Of Reopening, Holiday Food Removed From Menus, And More)

Hello from another chilly day here at the Magic Kingdom! There’s been a lot of developments here lately, so we came to see what we could find to show you today. Let’s get started!

We stopped in first to The Emporium and found two new Star Wars shirts right away, both featuring the very popular Grogu, or “The Child”, from “The Mandalorian”.

We also found a new face mask by Spirit Jersey. This new design is black, features a white Mickey Mouse face, and retails for $12.99.

We found a new addition to the cut off hoodie line as well. This all-over Villains print is good to be bad in, and retails for $44.99.

New MagicBands have been popping up all over, but we were still happy to find this new solid color vibrant blue one for $14.99. We like it so much better than the navy blue that has been available up until now!

Next, we went across Main Street, U.S.A. to Uptown Jewelers and found a few more new pieces. This fun pearl choker features a cameo of Marie in the center, and retails for $24.99.

We also found several new pieces by CRISLU Jewelry, including this stunning Captain America shield necklace. For more information and pictures of all the pieces we found today, check out our article here.

With all the new Disney Dog and Cat merchandise out, we were excited to finally spot this “I Love My Disney Dog” MagicBand by Dooney & Bourke. Pet lovers have quite a few options now when it comes to Disney fashion!

Moving further into the park, we decided to check up on some construction projects. We found an unexpected refurbishment project almost completed overnight with this fence repair in Fantasyland. All that’s left to do is to stain the fresh wood to match the rest of the fence.

We got a rare, closer look at the train track at Fantasyland Station today, and found that while additional track has not been laid, completion of the track up the station is underway.

We saw workers on the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover track again today. The ride vehicles are spaced out a bit more along the track, but not at the proper distance for the ride to be operational.

The bed of Rivers of America was very busy today as workers and vehicles were present during park open hours. Electrical work was being done on Tom Sawyer Island.

With the colder weather today, a lot of the Cast Members and characters had on an extra layer to stay warm. Even Tinker Bell had on a stylish jacket to stay warm during her cavalcade today through the Magic Kingdom.

Last week we noticed that some of the holiday food was still available to guests, including the Fa La La La La Funnel Cake at Sleepy Hollow Refreshments. Today, we saw that they have returned to their normal menu there, as well as at all the other locations where we saw holiday food lingering.

The exception was the Christmas Churros, available at Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn & Tavern. This holiday treat, along with the Sven sipper, is still available to guests wishing to hold on to the holiday magic a little while longer.

The Christmas Cinderella Castle Projections Annual Passholder merchandise has been consolidated down to one location: the Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe. The original three locations that had been carrying this merchandise, Star Traders, Pin Trading Outpost, and Bonjour! Village Gifts, are no longer carrying this merchandise. You can now only buy these items here at the Christmas Shoppe.

We really enjoyed seeing the Ugly Stepsisters today as they greeted guests from in front of Princess Fairytale Hall. They were not available for meet and greets during the Christmas holiday season, but they have returned now, and we love listening to their banter.

The Express Monorail was down for a brief period today, but came back into service by the time we reached the Transportation and Ticket Center by alternate transportation. Thankfully there is always another way to get somewhere on Walt Disney World property.

We had a wonderful day at the Magic Kingdom today, and we hope you enjoyed coming along with us. Have a magical day!
