While the Cinderella Castle stage remains covered in scrim at Magic Kingdom, the moat surrounding the castle is now being drained.
We spotted dams up on both sides of the moat in the past couple of days.
This dam is on the east side.
Though not immediately obvious, we can tell draining has begun by looking at the nearby rocks, where lines indicate the normal water level.
Over on the west side, we can see a water pump.
We don’t yet know the full extent of what refurbishment and construction will be happening at Cinderella Castle, especially considering it received a major reimagining last year. Keep checking WDWNT for updates as we learn more.

That is one UGLY castle.
Not sure what they’re doing unless just cleaning out garbage or coins so it will be cleaner for the ducks. Or maybe there has been alligator sightings in the moat??? Who knows 🤷🏼♀️
