Beginning today, guests at Disney’s Animal Kingdom are able to learn how to draw characters from the upcoming animated film Raya and the Last Dragon at The Animation Experience at Conservation Station.

At the Conservation Station, you are greeted with posters of Raya and the Last Dragon and the new Animation Experience.

Once inside, chairs are placed in front of a screen that will be used when guiding the animation class.

This afternoon’s Animation Experience features Baby Tuk Tuk.

We were given a clipboard with a sheet of paper pre-set with drawing guidelines and a small pencil.

Before beginning to draw our Tuk Tuk, a short introduction to the experience was played on the screen.

After a short video introducing us to Tuk Tuk played, we started to create our personalized piece of Disney art guided by an instructor.

The drawing lesson is step-by-step as an overhead camera projects onto the screens.
