REVIEW: New Limited Time Girl Scouts Thin Mint Cookie Donut and Strawberry Jelly Donut at Everglazed in Disney Springs

Everglazed Donuts & Cold Brew had two new seasonal donuts debut today at Disney Springs. The first combines their Classic Chocolate Iced Donut with Girl Scouts Thin Mints, and the second is a strawberry jelly donut.

Mint Chocolate Chip Donut – $5.50

Other than the thin mint cookie and crumbles on top, the donut doesn’t have too much mint flavoring. Supposedly both the green icing and the buttercream are mint-flavored, but we could only taste it in the drizzle of icing.

There’s a lot of chocolate, especially with the mini chocolate chips, that overpowers the mint taste.

That being said, if you love Thin Mints, you will probably like this. But if Thin Mints are at the bottom of your Girl Scouts cookie list, then skip it as there’s a lot of great other options here.

This donut is available for the rest of February. There are limited quantities daily and Everglazed Donuts & Cold Brew opens at 9:00 AM.

Strawberry Jelly Deluxe Donut – $5.50

The base of this is a glazed donut. The buttercream is supposed to be strawberry-flavored, but once again we couldn’t taste that very much. The drizzle of icing on top is a simple vanilla.

The chopped strawberries on top make for a nice presentation and some pleasant strawberry flavor to counter the pastry. Overall, the donut is not too sweet and just a little bit sour. It made for a good balance of flavors.

There is a lot of jelly inside. Be careful with both the jelly and the strawberry topping, which is a little watery. As good as the donut is, it definitely makes a mess.

It’s also a more permanent addition to the menu than the Thin Mint donut as there is no end date announced for this offering.
