Stomach don’t fail me now! The Mardi Gras Tribute Store is open at Universal Studios Florida and there are so many sweet and savory snacks to try, but we’re prepared to try them all! We were excited when we spotted a beautiful, glittering Moon Pie in the display case and hoped it would taste as good as it looks.
Mardi Gras Moon Pie – $5.49
Two shortbread cookies are filled with a marshmallow buttercream center and dipped in a bright blue mirror glaze. It’s absolutely gorgeous.
And it tastes incredible! This was another one of our top choices, if not our very favorite, from all the Tribute Store offerings. The cookies were crunchy and the center had a rich marshmallow flavor we loved. The consistency of the buttercream filling was thick, sweet, and creamy, which complimented the shortbread cookies perfectly.
We definitely would recommend this Moon Pie from the Tribute Store, but if you’re looking for an even sweeter experience, stop by the Toothsome Chocolate Emporium and Savory Feast Kitchen for the Mardi Gras Moon Pie Milkshake. Happy Mardi Gras!
