Just inside the Magic Kingdom, new pavement had been laid at the former Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom portal location, where we had seen the pavement scored for removal last week.

Further into the park, an impressive expanse of the iconic gear pavement in Tomorrowland has now been scored, marking it for future removal and replacement.

Although small, a new tarp has appeared in the Pygmy Welcoming Party scene of Jungle Cruise close to the canoes. These tarps generally cover areas under construction or connection points for animatronics, etc. if they’ve been removed. Even though this seems like a small development, we’ll be watching this space.

With safety precautions concerning COVID-19 shifting in Walt Disney World, we’ve seen some changes over the last week. Today we saw physical distancing markers removed from the extended queue of Splash Mountain. For more pictures and information, check out our article here.

We have also seen the removal of the one way entrance and exit flow from some stores across Walt Disney World. Today we found the “Entrance Only” signs removed from Star Traders, but the opposite door was still marked “Exit Only”. As with any large change, we expect these things will take time to complete.
