PHOTOS: Guests Can Once Again Pose Live for Silhouette Art at Magic Kingdom

Guests can once again pose live for a piece of silhouette or caricature art at the outdoor studio in Magic Kingdom’s Liberty Square.

Since reopening, Cast Members have exclusively been using photos as references for their artwork but we noticed guests posing live today.

Since silhouette cuttings are completed in under five minutes, guests may now remove their masks and sit for a live cutting. Only one party is allowed in the studio area at a time.

In the case of caricatures—which take much longer—guests must keep their masks on if they want to pose live. Otherwise, Cast Members can still consult a photo. The sign stating artwork is completed from photographs is still on display.

This change comes as Walt Disney World begins to relax its COVID-19 health and safety guidelines. Face masks are no longer required in most outdoor areas.
