Disneyland Park is open once again, and so is Hondo Ohnaka’s operation. Ohnaka needs crews to pilot the fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy: the Millennium Falcon. We gladly accepted the mission. Let’s take a look at Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run.
Like other attractions at Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure, attraction queues are mostly outside. California may lift this and other restrictions as soon as June 15.
The Smugglers Run queue begins in front of the Millennium Falcon.
The main entrance is not in use. Instead, guests enter the show building behind the Millennium Falcon.
The outdoor line extends to a backstage area. Cast Members direct traffic backstage.
Yellow tape is used to create queue lines and physical distancing markers.
Physical distancing markers line the on-stage queue.
Guests quickly move through the seemingly deserted show building.
Guests do not stop for the pre-show briefing. Rather, the pre-show audio plays throughout the indoor queue, explaining the mission.
Guests are asked to wait before boarding the Millennium Falcon.
Normally, guests are given position cards, assigning the role of pilot, gunner, or engineer. Position cards are not currently being used.
One party is seated per Millennium Falcon cockpit.
After landing, guests exit through corridors carved in the stone.
A health and safety sign asks guests to keep a minimum of six feet from other parties.
Those needing the elevator are asked to load only one party at a time.
