PHOTO REPORT: Magic Kingdom 6/2/21 (“Native Celebration” Hut Removed From Jungle Cruise, Buffalo Chicken Spring Rolls Return, New Cars Wishables, and More)

Hello friends from a lovely day here at the Magic Kingdom! The forecasted rain held off and we had bright, sunny skies to check out all the new things at the park by. We found some things to show you, so let’s get started!

Although there wasn’t any new scored pavement in Tomorrowland, there was some fresh concrete patches replacing the iconic gear pavement.

This area underneath the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover Track was especially broken up with score marks, and has now been replaced with fresh concrete.

Gaston’s Fountain remains off but filled with water. We are keeping an eye on this spot for further developments.

The elephant animatronics on Jungle Cruise saw a minor improvement in performance today. The first animatronic had small movements of it’s trunk back, and sound.

The second elephant animatronic was still not functioning at all, with both sound and motion missing.

This sign caught our eye today displayed with the Rainbow Disney Collection, telling guests of Disney’s commitment to organizations that support LGBTQ+ communities around the world, and their financial contributions to those organizations.
