Twitter User @whalebait99 shared this morning that arcades at Walt Disney World are finally reopening for the first time since the start of the pandemic.
Pre-pandemic, the arcades were a popular spot for families to spend time outside of the parks.
Current operating hours at the Fast Forward Arcade at Disney’s Pop Century Resort are from 8am-11pm.
Disney is still limiting capacity at this time by only allowing single players, or one travel party per arcade machine.

Thanks for getting the word out!!! I have been a part of the arcade team on property since 2014. This past year has been rough- but we were all excited to get back to what we love- keeping the arcades running for the enjoyment of our guests!
Thanks again

Seriously? We just got home from our WDW trip and they opened the arcades? I have 3 sons who love the arcades. I even have an arcade card from 2 years ago that still has some money on it! Guess I’ll wait till next year.
In the past, if you don’t use up all the points in a card, you can go back a year later and the points are still there! So I hope covid didn’t make them forget my card. Not that that’s a big deal; I just wish they had opened a week earlier. We could have enjoyed the arcades, now that Disney Quest is gone.
