Construction of TRON Lightcyle / Run at Magic Kingdom has picked up, with interior work resuming and the building being reopened. Temporary blue netting is also being slowly added to the canopy framework of the coaster.
From Storybook Circus, we could get a good look at the entire canopy framework, as well as the site’s large crane.
The safety netting is currently curved around the opposite side of the framework.
The blue netting is not the final canopy, which will be opaque and illuminated.
Crew members in boom vehicles nearby continue to work on the canopy’s lighting system.
Above is concept art of what the canopy will look like when completed.
More paneling has been removed from around the track’s re-entry point.
The orange tarp across the track is to protect it as construction continues.
Several triangular arms have been installed on the track supports.
