Tokyo Disney Resort Announces Attraction Refurbishments Through January 2022

Annual maintenance is an inevitability no matter where you go. Fortunately, Tokyo Disney Resort prefers to tell Guests far in advance of upcoming maintenance plans. Quite a bit of attractions are scheduled for their week-long refurbishments through January 2022 (and a couple of multi-month ones on the way too), so let’s take a look at the refurbishment schedule at both Tokyo Disneyland & Tokyo DisneySea!

Please note that these lists do not include shops, restaurants, and attractions currently closed due to COVID-19 capacity restrictions.

Tokyo Disneyland

  • Mickey’s PhilharMagic—June 25-30
  • Plaza Pavilion Character Greeting—July 1st through September 14th
  • Big Thunder Mountain—July 2-21
  • The Enchanted Tiki Room: Stitch Presents Aloha e Komo Mai—July 10-15
  • Buzz Lightyear’s Astro Blasters—July 13-15
  • it’s a small world—July 20-29
  • Beaver Brothers Exploration Canoes—July 24th through August 31st
  • Haunted Mansion—August 21-30
  • Jungle Cruise: Wildlife Expeditions—September 1-18
  • Gadget’s Go-Coaster—November 24th through December 13th
  • Donald’s Boat—November 24th through December 13th
  • Castle Carousel—December 14-24
  • Dreaming Up!—January 17-28, 2022
  • Splash Mountain—January 25th through February 13th, 2022
