Hello from what started out as a pretty day at EPCOT, but eventually turned into a very wet and stormy day. Before the deluge began, we were able to find some new things to show you, so let’s get started!

Behind construction walls, work continues on the future home of Creations Shop and Club Cool in Innoventions East. We saw workers in a man lift working on the façade of the building today.

Test Track was closed for technical difficulties for most of our time at the park this morning. Being an attraction affected by weather was also bad luck for guests wishing to ride it today.

Visible progress was made on three of the four doors on Port of Entry, with the top portions stripped of paint down to the metal, and the first coat of stripper applied to the bottom portion of the doors.

Portions of the new pavement in the Morocco Pavilion seem to have had a type of stain applied which colors the concrete and gives it a wet appearance. The smell of the chemical stain was strong in this area today, and while the concrete appeared wet, it felt dry.

Walking World Showcase in the morning and even into early afternoon, we’ve been surprised recently by how light the crowd levels have been. This was around 1 p.m., a time when we would have expected a heavier lunch crowd to have gotten to this part of the park already.

Katsura Grill has seen some menu changes. The Okonomiyaki Fries and the Menchi Katsu Sliders have been removed, but a Grilled Chicken Salad and a side salad have been added.

We found a Buy One Get One Free sale on mint tins at MISSION: Space Cargo Bay. These tins usually retail for $4.99 each plus tax.

We found a new mystery pin set featuring “Star Wars: The Mandalorian” helmets. Each box contains two randomly selected pins of the nine pin collection. This set is available at Pin Traders for $15.99.

Another late-comer has arrived in the Food & Wine Festival merchandise department with this “try the grey stuff it’s delicious” shirt, which we found at Port of Entry for $36.99.

We found a new hat in the Germany Pavilion at Stein Haus featuring Mickey Mouse and the phrase “Guten Tag!” for $27.99.

At Mouse Gear, we found this new fuzzball. For more pictures and information, check out our article here.

Our favorite find of the day was this new merchandise line in the Italy Pavilion featuring Minnie Mouse. For more pictures and information on the whole collection, including the adorable new ears, check out our article here.

We had a wonderful time at EPCOT, and we hope you enjoyed coming along with us. Have a magical day!
