Hello from another beautiful but tumultuous weather day here at the Magic Kingdom! It started out sunny and warm, but after a strong rainstorm midday, it cooled down a bit while bringing in the high humidity. We found some things to show you, so let’s get started!
On our way into the park, we noticed that all of the tapstiles were open for the first time that we’ve seen since the parks reopened last year. Until today, every other tapstile has been closed to promote physical distancing.
The replacement of the last gear in the pavement at the entrance of Tomorrowland continues, with just a small corner left now.
The iconic bronze “Partners” statue in the center of The Hub in front of Cinderella Castle is being refurbished ahead of Magic Kingdom’s 50th Anniversary. For more pictures and information, check out our article here.
As a part of the ongoing changes to the Jungle Cruise, the totems have been removed from the Crocodile scene on the attraction. For more pictures and information, check out our article here.
A new collection of Dooney & Bourke handbags have been previewed featuring “The Hunchback of Notre Dame”. This print will be available in three styles of bag. For more pictures and information, check out our article here.
We found a fun new sketch style mug featuring several Princesses and their friends. We found this mug at The Emporium for $14.99.
We also found two new water bottles at The Emporium. The first features Stitch in his “vacation mode” and the second features retro Minnie Mouse. Stitch retails for $27.99 and Minnie retails for $22.99.
We got a fun picture of these new leather studded ears at Fantasy Faire today. These ears are brand new across property today, and retail for $29.99.
We found part of the Limited Release Aladdin Stitch Crashes Disney Collection at Star Traders today. The plush, which retails for $29.99, and the MagicBand, which retails for $34.99, we’re both available, but the pins were not.
It was a good day for exclusive merchandise as we found a Limited Edition MagicBand featuring “The Great Mouse Detective” at The Emporium today. It retails for $39.99.
