Scrim is up and work is underway in New Orleans Square at Disneyland. While enjoying our time in the Happiest Place on Earth, we stopped by to check out the scene and to see what is still open to guests during construction.
Unfortunately, the scrim is a basic solid color instead of being themed to the area to draw more attention away from the construction.
Thankfully, it seems most guests aren’t paying any attention to the work being done behind the scenes.
Scaffolding and other shadows are clear when the sun hits the scrim.
Local shops like Port Royal Curious & Curiosities remain open during construction.
Arr, Pieces of Eight is also still open to guests at this time.

Wow! Those are ugly. I hope its just a quick paint refresh and nothing that lingers.
