Disney Parks Blog has shared a fresh look at Disneyland Park’s Jungle Cruise, which will be reopening on July 16 after a series of cultural sensitivity updates.
Among the new scenes on the attraction is the partially sunk Mekong Maiden, covered in mischievous monkeys.
Just like in Florida, there will be a new version of the “trapped safari” scene.
As well as Trader Sam’s Gift Shop. Watch a behind-the-scenes video featuring Walt Disney Imagineers below.

Looks great!
It will be fun to experience the Skippers’ new material with the new scenes. The animatronics look like they are going to really add to the show as well. Very fun.
the monkeys offend me. i demand to be catered to.
I hope the PR team is happy with a number of times they had to gratuitously throw in the words “inclusive” and “relevant” in this video. Such pandering. Hopefully they checked enough boxes to satisfy everyone. We all know that’s all that counts.
