Last month we saw the popular “Shrunken Zombie Head” drink get a new name at Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar in Disneyland, and now the Walt Disney World iteration of Trader Sam’s seems to be following suit with two popular menu items.
According to the menu on the Walt Disney World website, there are two menu items with new names at Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto:
- “Shrunken Zombie Head” is now “Zombie
- “Headhunter Sushi Roll” has been renamed “Kahuna Tuna Sushi Roll”
These changes seem to be in line with the series of cultural sensitivity changes coming to the Jungle Cruise. “Shrunken head” props, including the Trader Sam figure, have been removed from the ride.

This is getting beyond ridiculous. How are head shrinkers insensitive! They were real!!!!! It was a part of their culture. Dont know if they do that anymore, but there are still primitive tribes in the jungles. Jungle Cruise is not set in present day. Are all skulls and skeletons gonna be removed because they are insensitive to dead people!!! Just stop already. People need to get over themselves and stop being so damn over sensitive about everything.
Considering you’re ranting about them changing it you could say YOU are being oversensitive as well.
