Halloween has arrived in Hollywood, even if it is August 10th, and we’re already diving into the pumpkin patch for our first spooky snack review.
The Spooky Ghost Cupcake is also available at the Trolley Car Cafe Starbucks on Hollywood Boulevard, along with the item in this review.
Pumpkin Mousse – $5.49
Milk chocolate chai mousse filled with pumpkin bread set atop a chocolate shortbread cookie and vanilla buttercream
Aside from it being really difficult to get out of the box, this was actually pretty good.
The mousse on the outside had a very subtle chai spice to it with just a hint of chocolate to complement it.
The pumpkin bread on the inside was nice; moist and dense with the expected rich taste. The cookie on the bottom wasn’t anything special, but it added a nice crunch to an otherwise mushy dish. We would get this again.

gee, i wish Disney’s Hollywood Studios could have a Halloween event just like Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party in Magic Kingdom.
The last time they tried it, it was the biggest disaster. World Drive traffic came to a stop, parking lot was clogged for hours, the park was overcrowded with some meet and greets having 3 hour long lines. It will likely never be attempted again.
