WDWNT is Hiring an Executive Assistant in Orlando

WDWNT is looking to hire an executive assistant to WDWNT CEO Tom Corless. Qualified applicants will reside in the Orlando area and possess an annual pass to the Walt Disney World theme parks. Duties will include:

  • Administrative duties including scheduling meetings, coordinating staff activities, working with vendors, providing customer service, etc.
  • Office Manager duties including maintaining a clean and well-supplied office environment, working with landlords and maintenance personnel, office security, shipping, etc. 
  • Executive Assistant tasks including booking travel, local shopping trips and errands, etc.
  • Production Assistant responsibilities including scheduling on-air talent, creating props, writing scripts, etc.

A strong knowledge of and familiarity with the Walt Disney World Resort is required. Previous administrative experience is strongly preferred.

A successful candidate will:

  • Be self-motivated, and willing and able take on assignments with minimal direction
  • Possess excellent writing and communication skills
  • Be extremely comfortable interacting with staff, guests, vendors and others
  • Be highly organized and able to multi-task

Hours are variable but will be a minimum of 35 hours per week, but usually offering more hours on a regular basis. Some weekend availability is required. Pay starts at $15 an hour. Start date is as soon as possible.

Additional opportunities based on candidate’s experience and interest may be available, including on-air appearances, video editing and production, etc.
