New Permit May Confirm Return of Candlelight Processional to Disneyland for 2021

A new permit seems to confirm that one of the most beloved features of the holiday season at Disneyland may return this year.

The permit, filed by Disney with the City of Anaheim, requests permission to install “outdoor steel platforms, outdoor wheelchair lift, accessible platform, show light towers and audio towers, (2) generators, movable folding viewing seats and wheelchair spaces with companion seats” at the Main Street, U.S.A. railroad station for the nighttime show, which tells the story of the Nativity with a large choir and orchestra.

The show was cancelled for the first time in its history last year, but with its sister show already confirmed to return this year to Walt Disney World, it seems appropriate that the long-running annual event is coming home to The Happiest Place on Earth for the holidays.
