Welcome to another fantastic day here at the Universal Orlando Resort! We arrived bright and early this morning for the “Music of Halloween Horror Nights” album release from Midnight Syndicate. Let’s make our way to Universal Studios Florida first!
It was a beautiful morning. Walking under this arch never gets old.
Just a little appreciation for blue skies and Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit.
We made our way to the Tribute Store and joined the line of other guests waiting for the album release. Eventually, a Team Member notified us the release at the Five & Dime.
Over at the Five & Dime, guests lined up eager to buy the new record, only to find out they wouldn’t be sold until 1 PM during the signing with Jose Pardo. It was only 8 AM and the line was already growing.
Eventually, management decided to sell some of the albums early, limit 3 per person. We got our copy and made our way out to the park.
A new “Wicked Divas” tee can be found at multiple shops around the park for $40. The top features Lady Luck, the Storyteller, the Terra Queen, the Bride, and Chance and has a unique cut-out feature along the neckline.
The Prop Shop has some new items. There are R.I.P. signs and a sign from last year’s Skeleton Bar.
Inside the Kwik-E-Mart, there’s a glow-in-the-dark “Happy Hauntings” Simpsons shirt for $25.
A few of the figures around Springfield have been removed, most likely for refurbishment.
Above the old Barney Shop in KidZone, a few people were working on the roof.
The crowds were pretty low today.
Stopped by the DreamWorks Destination early to say hi to some of our favorite characters in the courtyard.
Take home a “Good Guys” plush from the skill games near Music Plaza Stage. You can find Chucky and Tiffany plush prizes at a couple of the booths.
There’s also some Pac Man prizes. The plush prizes at these games have been really great this year.
We stopped back into the Five & Dime for the signing with Jose Pardo. You can see more signing events in our Halloween Headliners post here.
Out in CityWalk, the drink stands are carrying Ghoul Juice and Poison Tea Party.
On our way through CityWalk this morning, we noticed work taking place on the entrance of Quiet Flight. As we were leaving, the Quiet Flight sign was completely removed.
Make sure you stop into Cinnabon in CityWalk to check out this fun display of Chucky and family!
Thanks for following us around the Universal Orlando Resort today. We’ll be back again soon, so be sure to stay tuned to Universal Parks News Today for all the latest updates!
