Guests visiting Universal Orlando Resort are able to collect candy from various locations around the resort. They just need a map. Fortunately, the Scarecrow Stalk map shows the way.
Scarecrow Stalk – $10
The Scarecrow Stalk map is packaged with a chocolate bar, which costs $10.
A plastic bag is also included to collect candy at each stop on the Scarecrow Stalk. According to the sign, guest maps will also be stamped at each location.
Last year’s Scarecrow Stalk did not include a chocolate bar. It was also free.
Universal Studios Florida
Universal Studios Store
The Universal Studios Store has a trio of scarecrows in tribute to Alfred Hitchcock and two of his most famous thrillers, “Psycho” and “The Birds.”
Five & Dime
Hollywood’s Five & Dime scarecrow is a secret agent stealing the plans for the “greatest rollercoaster ever. (It’s too late, they already built the VelociCoaster!)
MIB Gear
The MIB Gear Shop appropriately hosts a “conspiracy” theorist, complete with tinfoil hat, at Area 51.
Custom Gear
Inside Custom Gear, the gift shop for Fast & Furious — Supercharged, a mechanic scarecrow can be found.
A hidden Easter egg can also be found. In the mechanic’s pile is a license plate for Shadybrook, home to Shadybrook Rest Home and Sanitarium.
Sahara Traders
Sahara Traders has a scarecrow of Team Member Reggie. If he hadn’t met an unfortunate fate, Brenden Fraser’s interview would have been a lot better.
A missing person poster for Reggie can be seen on the crate.
The scarecrow is plagued with scarabs. I guess the curse is real.
The Tonight Shop
The host is in at the Tonight Shop. With a television set and a microphone, he’s ready to bring you the latest in scarecrow news.
Universal’s Islands of Adventure
Ocean Trader Market
Two plunderers are posted in the Ocean Traders Market.
Another fun Easter egg here is a bottle containing Specimen #4527 — a small, brightly colored spider whose venom is a possible source of super-human powers.
Store
At Marvel Super Hero Island, a young scarecrow is sneaking around to read comics after bedtime.
Some of the Halloween Horror Nights comics seen here can be purchased at the All Hallows Eve Boutique in the Lost Continent.
Toon Extra
This artist has sketched up all the scarecrows seen around the stalk.
Dinostore
The Dinostore hosts an homage to Dr. Ian Malcolm in a classic scene from the original “Jurassic Park.”
All Hallows Eve Boutique
Less of a scarecrow and more of a skeleton, All Hallows Eve Boutique delivers on the classic Halloween aesthetic.
Treasures of Poseidon
Our fearless tour guide, Taylor from Poseidon’s Fury, is here in the Lost Continent to help in your quest for treasure.
CityWalk
Universal Legacy Store
These totally tubular tourists have come straight from 1991 to visit Fright Nights. A lot has changed since then, but we bet they still have a terrifying time at HHN 30.
Toothsome Chocolate Emporium
The last stop on the map is to Toothsome Chocolate Emporium to pay a visit to this miner and his chocolate canaries.
We hate to think of the fate that awaits Pierre.
The Candy
Once you’ve checked out the scarecrow, each location will have a trick or treat sign where a Team Member will stamp your map and give you candy. Below is a small sampling of the types of candy we received.
Above is the chocolate bar that comes with the map. It was decent chocolate, certainly not as good as the confections from Toothsome, but we enjoyed it.
The rest of the candy was your classic trick or treat candy. Depending on the type, we received 2-4 pieces at each stop. Overall, this was a cute activity to bring a little extra Halloween fun to our day.

Is this something that can be done during HHN as well, or just during the day? And can it carry over to other days (say, if someone gets the kit and is there for 2 or more days)?
