Disney’s All-Star Music Resort recently reopened after a long hiatus with a renovated lobby and recently reimagined rooms to boot. Here, we take a tour of a refurbished family suite room at the resort.
The living room doubles as a bedroom, with two queen-size pull-down beds.
This is the only All-Star room with a headboard mural specific to the resort you are in. The other bed has the usual Art shares between all 3 hotels.
This mural features Huey, Dewey, and Louie dreaming of their possible careers.
When the beds are folded up, a table with four chairs, a sofa, and ottoman are available.
The table is attached to the pull-down bed, and folds beneath it.
The sofa top also folds down beneath a bed.
The sleek red sofa has an “all-star” striped design on its back cushions.
The ottoman is grey, with neon lining and colorful circles around the side.
It offers a large storage space.
The dining chairs also have circles on the seat.
They resemble records, reels, and various types of balls, representing the three All-Star resorts.
Shelves are built into the pull-down bed structure.
There are also wall lamps next to the beds.
Standard and USB outlets are beneath each wall lamp.
The curtain on the front window is a funky, colorful design.
A rack of hooks isn’t far from the door, perfect for hanging hats or masks.
The dresser and wall-mounted TV are opposite the beds.
The dresser has standard and USB outlets built into the top.
The lamp resembles sheet music with a treble clef in the center.
Next to the first bathroom is a row of artwork featuring different Disney characters.
Each piece looks like the cover of a music record.
Through a sliding door is the first bathroom.
Here you’ll find an open closet with hangers.
There’s a few shelves around the sink.
The mirror has lights around it.
Through another sliding door is the toilet and shower.
The walls in here are green.
The showers have sliding glass doors. This one has a built-in tub.
A decently sized kitchenette is just off of the living room and includes a microwave and refrigerator with ‘Goofy Rock’ and ‘Daisy Duck Broadway’ artwork.
There’s two rows of shelving above the kitchenette’s counter.
Although the bottom cabinet drawers are not lined up correctly, there is a good amount of storage space underneath the countertop.
A small coffeemaker, cups, and ice bucket are provided on the countertop next to the microwave.
Plastic cutlery and cups are provided in the drawers.
Just off of the kitchen is the main bedroom.
This room has one queen-size bed.
The artwork with light fixtures visible in all the standard rooms is in here as well.
Plenty of space is under the lifted bed to store luggage.
To the left of the bed, a cubby night stand is complete with the two standard USB ports and outlets.
The lamp matches the treble clef fixture in the living area but with no thematic touch.
The ottoman and chair has abstract artwork printed on the fabric.
A tall fixated mirror with end table built into the headboard on the right side of the bed is a newer feature and also with the USB outlet.
A large, full-sized mirror is across from the bed next to the TV.
Two outlets with USB ports are on the television set dresser with a safe and extra pillows underneath.
A luggage rack and AC is to the right of the television.
The main bathroom in the bedroom is new to the All-Star Resorts.
The large vanity mirror is backlit. A makeup mirror and outlets are on the wall.
H20 bar soap and tissues are on the open countertop with one sink.
A small closet and hanging towel rack are across from the sink.
The private bathroom can be separated by a sliding door and has a walk-in shower. Plenty of towel racks with towels are provided in the space.
The walk-in shower includes mounted H20+ shampoo, conditioner, and body wash below a cubby for toiletries.
A large shower head features a removable arm next to a clothesline to hang garments.
Refurbished Family Suite Room Tour – Disney’s All-Star Music Resort

I havent stayed at All Star Music since the mid ‘90’s. This might be a good option for us when we go back for my parent’s last trip next year since they are retiring. We can save money by not getting 2 rooms at another value maybe. The only thing I dont like is the putrid green in the bathroom.
They put a lot into a small space. I can see a lot of stuff in those bathrooms (having the closet and ironing board in there). You have to be aware that pull down beds and sleeper sofas are not as comfortable as having a real bed. Here’s the order best to worst: conventional bed, pull-down murphy bed, and sofa sleeper. Murphy bed may work well for children. Adults may revolt and fight for the bed.
Have all of the family suites at all star music been renovated?
Yes
Looks super nice!
Is the Jazz or other area that contains the family suites a better area to request. I’m not going until June but have never stayed here before
