TODAY Cafe in Universal Studios Florida has three new Halloween treats we had to try out: a chocolate spider with Oreo cream filling, a pumpkin cream cheese crème brûlée, and a “bloody” strawberry and cream cake.

The TODAY Cafe is located in Production Central, across the street from the Universal Studios Store.

Chocolate Spider Cake With Oreo Cream Filling – $4.99

This is a chocolate mousse dome with a tiny ball of Oreo flavoring inside.

It’s good but more filling would make it great.

The best part is the squishy ball of Oreo cookie crumbs that make up the spider’s head.

Pumpkin Cream Cheese Crème Brûlée – $5.49

This is basically a very dense mousse with a pumpkin pie flavor.

It captures the taste of both the pie and crust in a mousse consistency.

It’s a great treat.

Strawberry & Scream – $4.99

This great little dessert has some visual similarities to the Knife Trifle from the Tribute Store. The cake is not nearly as sweet, which makes this a very memorable dessert. It’s like a strawberry shortcake, with a very dense cake layered with a tart, sweet strawberry sauce, and fresh, fluffy whipped cream. The flavors are light. The dark chocolate knife is a nice touch, too.

All three themed treats from the TODAY Cafe were delicious and visually appealing. The price points aren’t too bad, either. These are great options if you’re looking for a spooky snack.
