Welcome to another beautiful day at the Universal Orlando Resort. It was a perfect day to enjoy some rides and shop around the parks. We noticed a bit of refurbishments happening around the parks, so let’s jump right into some updates!
It was a very strange and unusual weekend at Universal Orlando Resort as two new Beetlejuice Loungefly bags appeared at the 5 & 10 Store.
Beetlejuice and Lydia look great on both bags, we can’t pick a favorite!
Continuing our sunny day at the parks, we went next door to check out what’s going on at Universal Islands of Adventure.
Caro-Seuss-el is still closed for refurbishment and is surrounded by construction walls. Sadly, no updates on a reopening date yet.
Outside Honk Honkers in Seuss Landing, some crew members were touching up the paint on ‘Birthday Flower Jungle’ sign and the blue and white cloud directly above.
As we traveled through Marvel Superhero Island, we noticed that the Boutique had closed doors and black curtains up.
Water blasters on the bridge right outside of Dudley Do-Right’s Ripsaw Falls, are still using tokens, even though the Kingpin’s Arcade down the path has now switched to electronic tickets.
Camp Jurassic is also experiencing some refurbishment, but only some parts of the play area are closed off.
Walking up the stairs, the area is blocked off and you can see crew members working.
Many of the slides are closed off as well.
If you’re looking for a place to cool down, we definitely recommend checking out the caves and tunnels hidden in Camp Jurassic.
Gorgeous colors and atmosphere. Not many people know about this place, so it’s usually quiet. Perfect for relaxing after a long day in the sun!
To end off our day we stopped in the Jurassic Park Discovery Center to watch a baby velociraptor hatch! Check out that smile.
