A chilly morning won’t stop us from visiting the parks today! It must have stopped others, though, as wait times were short and crowds were small. Let’s jump right into a festive start to our morning at Universal Islands of Adventure.
Holiday decorations have begun appearing around the Port of Entry.
The festivities don’t stop there; if you make a sharp right into Seuss Landing, you’ll notice even more holiday decorations!
They even added a bit of holiday spirit onto the Honk Honkers painting refurbishment.
As we made our way around the park, we noticed that VelociCoaster was only at a 20 minute wait time.
Continuing down the path, Skull Island: Reign of Kong was at a 10 minute wait time. Definitely a perfect day to visit if you don’t enjoy the long wait times!
Quite a few characters could be spotted taking pictures around the parks today.
We spotted Betty Boop, Popeye, and Olive Oyl outside the Comic Strip Café in Toon Lagoon.
The friendly neighborhood Spider-Man was hanging out in the back of the Marvel Alterniverse Store.
As we entered Universal Studios Florida, Marilyn Monroe was driving by and waving to all of her adoring fans.
Almost empty streets can be seen around Hollywood Boulevard.
Crowds were a bit bigger inside Diagon Alley, but don’t let that fool you.
Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts was only at a 20 minute wait time!
Wands are at the ready as the dragon breathes fire in Diagon Alley. We always have to stop and watch the crowd reactions, so magical.
That’s where we ended our day, see you next time!
